Description
The conceptual idea contained in this work is very simple: a kind of spatial and sound game between four clarinets similar to a composition for soloist and live electronics -with filtering process and delay.
On the other hand, the title comes from Across the Universe (“... like a restless wind inside a letter box…”), and the piece, a kind of divertimento, is trying to evoque the wind with an autumnal sense, close to traditional Japanese poems.
The work was comissioned and premiered by the Barcelona Clarinet Players. It's included in the CD Offertorium published by Seedmusic:
