This edition offers the opportunity to play many well-known or newly composed popular melodies - from Handel's Hallelujah or Tchaikovsky's Waltz of the Flowers to James Rae's Texas Boogie - as play-alongs. The easy arrangements are available on the CD as full and play-along versions. For pieces with piano or band accompaniment, the play-along version is available on a separate track. The other tracks were recorded by the flute ensemble ‘Vienna Flautists’, here you can play along with the ensemble. All instruments were recorded live and should encourage you to play in other ensembles as well. The piano accompaniment was deliberately kept simple so that even less experienced players can make music together.
