Description
With summer breeze in my hair, I had the best of hopes for a sunny holiday to come. In this mood some of the opening melodic fragments of number 2, “Dream on a Sunbeam” started to draw my attention while improvising at the piano. During the rest of our family holiday and well into the autumn I had focus on this summer sweet melody and the four other melodic ideas that I was about to put together. The feeling of light mood summer with joy and melancholy will hopefully be present in the “Fragments for flute and guitar.”
