Description
In my imagination, "Matrix" is an immensely dense yet inaudible sound fabric from which - as if by chance - fragments become visible (notated) and thus audible. This aleatoric quality of Matrix should encourage the musicians to deal with the audible and visible fragments very freely and playfully. The desired generosity of interpretation is intended to serve the gesture of virtuosity and the celebration of music.
A large part of "Matrix" therefore remains unheard - but possibly further deatails of this sound weave will develop in the imagination of the audience.
