Description
The setting of the poem Stufen by Hermann Hesse is a composition commissioned by the University of Koblenz, Prof. Jeub, for clarinet, cello and mixed choir. The premiere was in June 2017 in the Stadtkirche Koblenz by UNIMUS Koblenz under the direction of Prof. Jeub.
For the Drensteinfurt Kultursommer 2017 I rewrote this composition for soprano, cello, piano. It was premiered in Sept. 2017 in front of the moated castle "Haus Steinfurt" in Drensteinfurt with Anna-Sophie Brosig (soprano), Julia Wasmund (cello) and Pillwoo Chun (piano) and recorded in June 2019 at the music school in Ahaus by sound engineer Matthias Reuland.
