Description
The classic holiday tune Jingle Bells has been “redefined” in this rendition for clarinet solo. It features a large scale of special and extended techniques, each of which leaves its distinctive mark on the tune. The final result is a blend of classical, jazz and the moving sound of holiday spirit. Except for its length, there isn’t much “little” about Little Christmas Fantasy. Acrobatic use of the instrument makes it a challenging piece for every clarinetist.
Along with the accompanying video, the Fantasy was rated among the 10 best clarinet videos of 2011 – selection of Clarinet Cache (at the time the blog and the column in the world’s premiere clarinet magazine ‘The Clarinet’ of the International Clarinet Association ICA).
