Description
This Italian Missa brevis with inserted intercessory part was created under the impression of an old painting - Madonna del suffragio (= Madonna of the intercessions) - in the parish church of the old Ligurian mountain village Perinaldo near San Remo/Bordighera (Italy).
The mass was originally written for choir and strings and premiered in 1995 in Rinkerode (Münster/Westphalia - Germany). In 2019 I re-arranged the mass for organ and choir. The first performance was in Drensteinfurt ( Germany) in 2022. In November 2021 we recorded the mass in St Martin Church in Sendenhorst (Germany). Participants - soloist, a choir was not possible due to pandemic.
Winfried Lichtscheidel - organ, Anna Sophie Brosig - soprano, Janina Hollich - alto, Seokjoon Park - tenor, Enno Kinast - bass-baritone. The recording can be ordered under streaming.
