Undoubtedly inspired by Vivaldi, my endeavor was to compose my own unique “four seasons”. However, my approach took on a culinary flavor. I harbor a deep love for food and its ingerdients.

My expeditions to the market involve searching for exquisite produce and seasonings, which I often use to create spontaneous and delectable dishes tailored to each season.

To both counteract and complement this, I decided to infuse my work, "The Other Seasons," with a somewhat philosophical layer — introducing the "reasons."

Fear not, as these reasons are nothing to be intimidated by; I've crafted them to exude whimsy, emotion, humor, simplicity, and surprise. One might argue that they carry a touch of Taoism.

The fundamental question for me is: What drives us to do what we do? Many philosophers have proposed their theories, and various religions endeavor to provide explanations, whether satisfactory or not.

My personally tailored and easily adaptable reason is: creativity. The theme of creativity seamlessly weaves through the fabric of our lives. Without delving into excessive detail, all the reasons I present here are creative rather than strictly rational.

Occasionally, they might even seem banal. Yet, I maintain that dismissing the banal too hastily is an oversight. What may seem banal to one person may hold deep meaning for another.

The primary "reason" for these pieces is pure joy — the joy found in life, in love, and especially during challenging times. It's the joy that supremely creative beings, such as ourselves, can derive in spite of our own inhibitions. So, relish my “Other Seasons” and interpret them as you will.
