Description
Another in my series of short chamber works, often featuring underused instruments. This time the double bass gets a chance to shine alongside the clarinet and the violin.
Dark whisperings and musings mingle with lyrical statements, spirited communication and angry outbursts.
Commissioned by the Kapoor Chamber Concert Series and premièred there in 2013.
Subsequently taken up by The Gaudier Ensemble at the Cerne Abbas Festival.
