Description
This composition is the first string quartet written by Lukács Márton Örs, a Hungarian pianist/composer/producer.
This one movement piece for string quartet tries to convey the feeling of being taken by an unpredictable flow, without being in control, as referred by the chosen subtitle, “Inertia”. The character is influenced and motivated by navigating through the current events in the world.
Compositionally, it develops a few musical themes, with changing episodes varying in tonality/atonality and dissonance.
