6 Studi da concerto per Chitarra
Duration: 15'
Solos:
guitar
The 6 studies were written to give the performer the possibility to show his technical and expressive skills, especially in concerts and encores. The title recalls the process of a forming musician and indeed any piece (witch is no longer than 2') focuses on a specific difficulty or crosses an expressive path. Though, each one is thought for an audience, rather than just an academic situation.
The musical gestures are different from one to another, giving the possibility to choose within the palette. The 6 studies are completed with an additional short piece, a variation on a theme by H. Purcell that translates the single musical sentences into the modern music idiom.
