Work introduction
The piece explores the idea of disintegration of an animate body during the process of death. Starting with an emotional rigor mortis in the realization of perishability, the perspective shifts to fragmentary episodes of increasing lightness, peace and acceptance. The singer's voice is used purposefully without words, underlining the abstract quality of the journey described, the detachment from the thinking body.
