Work introduction
In this short lullaby, the flute, here and there syncopated, and the swinging marimba softly reply to each other. Jean-Pierre Vial also used the theme of this lullaby as part of his Canzonetta for violin, cello and piano.
What is necessary to perform this work?
A single marimba is required. Both marimabists can share the marimba.
The piano reduction is scored for flute and piano.
