Work introduction
Cadenza for vibraphone solo (ossia Piano solo) was composed as a cadenza for the percussion concerto Trinoctium, and was conceived from a melodic-jazz prism on a rhythmic basis that evokes the flow of a baroque passacaglia.
Cadenza was finished on november 2010 and premiered January 25th 2011 along the performance of Trinoctium with the Detmolder Kammerorchester in Detmold under the baton of Alfredo Perl and Andrey Doynikov as soloist.
