dedicated to the innocent victims of all wars
for violoncello and strings (2024)
The subtitle is intended to be a message regarding and reflection on the cruelty of war, the latter often caused by the interests of a few people, which is now expanding in all parts of the world, involving the victimization of innocent people unrelated to the dynamics of power.
The piece has been commissioned by cellist Giuliano De Angelis for Ascoli Piceno Festival
The piece is written in 3 movements and it is possible to play from a small group of strings up to the string orchestra
