Work introduction
This piece consists of a montage and a complete rewriting of five traditional Swiss songs in Romansh language. It was inspired by Luciano Berio's treatment of them in his "Folksongs" (1964) and is based on the same type of ensemble, with the addition of two instruments, a piano and a trombone, as well as an electronic part which can be played by a DJ or on pre-recorded tracks. The five traditional songs are segmented and mixed together forming a kind of long rondo.
What is necessary to perform this work?
You can play the electronic part using DJ techniques from the records or play the tracks from a sampler. Tracks or disks will be sent under simple request.
