Work introduction
Debussy's Clair de lune is one of the best-known pièces in recent European music history. Often used as film music, a wealth of arrangements exists. Here is a new, semi-hybrid compositional arrangement that adds another sentimental piece to the repertoire of bassoonists and certainly facilitates the musical furnishing of festivities and celebrations, whether for cheerful or sad occasions. This arrangement aims to enrich not only the bassoon repertoire, but also the wallets of impoverished bassoonists.
