Work introduction
Yinka Shonibare inspires me with its bright colors and patterns
which I immediately associate with the variety of colors on our planet earth.
Movement and rhythm of the planet is performed by percussionists in different sounds and Rhythm models shown.
In order to let the beauty of the earth work and to get space for reflection, there are 6 subjects titled, the 1 to 2 minutes (longer is also possible) should linger in the sound space.
The composition is represented with dance, whereby I really like the SCI-FI-Both method from Harley Quinn / Vienna.
Choreographically you should work with 4 dance couples, 4 women and 4 men who are sexually different mix in a pas de deux.
In the performance it is important to see the musicians - but they should play behind a transparent curtain, where the bodies of the musicians are wrapped in tight dark wetsuits the faces cannot be recognized.
The focus is on the illuminated instruments. Use glowing LED gloves.
Music stands may be used.
The dancers are wrapped in the most colorful clothes, whereby the ladies should wear tight clothes, men should move like dervishes in full coats.
