Jean-Pierre Vial composed this suite for piano duet in 2017.
The suite, in six scenes, tells the legend of the Dioscuri (Castor and Pollux), starting with their birth, from Zeus and Leda, their feats of arms in Iliad and Odyssey, where they rescue their sister Helen, and their status of demigods which grants them access to immortality, alternating between Hades and Olympus.
