Work introduction
The Fantasy in E minor was composed within the years 2018 and 2022 and together with the Fantasy Piece for Cello and Piano in E-flat minor (op. 1 no. 2) forms the first opus by Florian Pichlbauer. The neo-romantic work takes influence from 19th century piano music and is composed entirely in tonal style. The Fantasy was dedicated to Stephan Fiedler on the occasion of the 170th anniversary of Klavierhaus Fiedler.
