Work introduction
The piece draws inspiration from Umberto Boccioni’s famous sculpture of the same name.
Just as Boccioni aimed to represent the fluidity of movement in physical space, I sought to capture the fluidity of sound as it moves through acoustic space in this composition. I created sound trails that gradually intersect, resulting in complex acoustic phenomena. This piece employs various tuning systems, a compositional technique I have developed and utilized for over 20 years, which I have named Polysystemism.
