Work introduction
Kerberos is the Greek name for the hound of Hades, which according to Greek mythology usually had three heads. He was the guardian of the Underworld and made sure that no living person entered it and no dead person escaped it. The three heads in a single body - as an allegory of Kerberos - was the decisive starting idea for this piece. Here, three instruments imitate each other, produce similar sounds in different ways and try to create a unique common sonority.
