Work introduction
La Palanca is a piece I wrote in Venice on La Giudecca, an island in the Venetian Lagoon. "La Palanca" is a vaparetto stop in front of the appartment I stayed in. (A vaparetto is a Venetian public waterbus). The view of the Grand Canal while writing this piece with its constantly changing light certainly inspired me at the time.
