Work introduction
'La Rayuela' takes its name from the children's game in which squares with numbers are marked with chalk (on the ground). This idea resonates in the metrical planning of the work: a total of thirty beats per phrase, divided into bars of symmetrical duration.
It is dedicated to great pianist Josep Colom. Our most poetic artist and marvellous human being.
