Work introduction
This well known piece was arranged to make it able to play for smaller chamber groups. The violin solo part is similar to the original, but sometimes it takes also the first violin part. The rest of the ensemble consists of a second Violin, Viola, Clarinet, Violoncello and Piano. The Clarinet has to play Clarinet in A and B, but it is also possible to play the complete piece on the clarinet in B. It is possible to perform with a piano or with a cembalo (piano recommended). The bowings for the strings and a lot of dynamics are already done and seem sometimes unusual but we tried it very often in concert and it seems the most logical concerning the music
