Work introduction
Shivaratri is the darkest night of the year before the new moon, and is celebrated with dances and music throughout the night in constant prayer to Shiva. This music is intended as a sound catharsis with which it is born from the will and the intention to create a luminous and hypnotic sound space that takes us beyond ordinary consciousness. In the central part there is a section where a musical idea is developed that must convey peace and serenity to return after another time to the previous sound intensity. This piece forms part of the collection Hymns to the Hope, recorded for the prestigious label NEOS Music from Munich, Germany.
