Work introduction
These are the first 5 modules for orchestra.
The modules are a concept in which I examine Schönberg's dictum 'composition is slowed-down improvisation' in various directions and realize it in short to medium-length orchestral pieces.
Be it that I apply my own improvisation techniques to orchestral compositions, be it that I take improvised structures as a basis, be it that I orchestrate my own solo improvisations.
The cycle follows an inner logic.
Movements are taken up again in different forms and varied during the course of the cycle.
The modules for orchestra are an ongoing long-term work-in-progress concept that I will take up and add to again and again.
In a way, as a standpoint for my aesthetic ideas.
