This guitar-solo piece was inspired by the poem The Pipa Tune, which was written by Bai Ju-Yi (772-846 AD) of the Tang Dynasty of China.
This piece was world-premiered by the Japanese classical guitarist Mr. Kazuhito Yamashita in Tokyo, Japan on December 9, 1998.
