Work introduction
I wrote this first song cycle after Robert Frost poems in 2014. This was the end of a long adventure with this poet, that lead me eventually to write cycles for all types of voices. Baritone , mezzo and tenor cycles preceded in 2012 and 2014. Robert Frost uses simple words to create extremely complex instruments of exploration of the universe. I chose all poems dating before 1937, for copyright reasons.
