Work introduction
In 1984 I founded the "Tiroler Ensemble für Neue Musik ... ticom". Unique in its unconventional instrumentation, this ensemble formed the first permanent platform for contemporary music in Tyrol. Be it performances in conventional concert halls, in the studio, at live radio broadcasts, in public spaces, in glacier caves (Günther Zechberger "ferner") or up in the mountains (George Lopez "Traumzeit und Traumdeutung") - no task was too difficult and no challenge too great for this "courageous" ensemble. After 20 years I resigned as director. "Traumfänger" - my farewell - still partly reflects the unconventional cast.
„Traumfänger“ is dedicated to my son Clemens.
