Work introduction
Not every big romantic opera can fit a smaller theater or venues that were not supposed to welcome a 60-75 musicians ensemble. Yet, this music should be able to travel and reach every ear. That's why internationally reknowned conductor and UE composer Frédéric Chaslin, who performed that opera in the most prestigious houses and knows all the requirements of the work, has decided to arrange it for a small chamber orchestra, ranging from 29 minimum players, to about 44, depending of the number of strings. The global effect has to be excatly what we are used to hear in Rigoletto, just a little less loud... Perfect for small venues.
