Work introduction
Drawing upon the words of Filipino radical Jose Maria Sison, Welcome the Unwelcome depicts how the guerilla soliders of the New People's Army use their environment and situation to their strength.
Though not necessarily a piece that depicts this, the work tries more to simply bring gravitas and highlight the importance of their fight against Duterte and his fascist lackeys. This work is composed as a dedication to all the progressive force who are engaged in this fight for the improvement of the lives of the people of the island nation.
