Zéphyros is a solo flute piece inspired by the mythological figure of Zephyrus, the Greek god of the west wind. Zephyrus symbolizes the gentle and temperate breeze that heralds spring and brings new life. The composition translates his light and sweet nature into music, alternating moments of suspended calm with passages of lively energy, like a breeze dancing through blooming fields.
