The work slowly evolves from the dark sonority of the beginning, dominated by the dissonant clusters of the organ and the inexorable march of the Bass Drum, towards the bright sound of the Glockenspiel, doubled by the melodic micro-articulations of the organ, in a crystalline sonority.
The Ceremony of Innocence was dedicated to DUO CARILLON.
