Work introduction
The meaning of temporal space in a musical work is a concern that has caught the attention of composers since ancient times. I also approached this topic, trying to create contrasting temporal typologies, having at my disposal an instrumental ensemble with endless possibilities of timbral combinations.
The Wheel of Time was dedicated to those who performed the piece for the first time: DUO CARILLON from Germany and TRIO CONTRASTE from Romania. The concert took place during the TIMSONIA International Festival in the Capitol Hall of the Banatul Philharmonic in Timisoara, on October 26, 2014.
