Work introduction
When I was young my mother would often put flowers in the window. She still does. It was always pretty nice to wake up and have a little of the outside flourishing on the inside. Mothers and flowers seem so united so similar. They are one and the same thing. This composition of mine, entitled“There are flowers in the window” is a musical offering in homage to my mother. Its the least I could do.
When I finished writing this piece it seemed obvious to me that this is what this piece should be entitled. It seemed obvious to me that this is what this piece should be all about. The language of music is sometimes more understandable than the language of words.
