Work introduction
The piece begins with a rhythmic figure as a brief introduction. The accordion then starts a virtuosic sixteenth-note chain in the Locrian mode. Guitar 2 responds with an A minor gesture. A calm section follows; the guitars take the lead, while the accordion accompanies. The fast A minor theme is revisited, leading to a virtuosic chorus for the accordion. The guitars continue the chorus, transitioning to an ethereal section where short motifs are introduced and transformed. A new rhythm emerges, and the accordion takes on an improvisational role. Guitar 2 takes over and leads into a grand closing section.
