
Klaus Dickbauer studied clarinet in Linz and at the Mozarteum Salzburg and saxophone in Vienna and Boston - Berklee. He was a member of the Vienna Art Orchestra for over 15 years and performed around the world. For 23 years he has been a founding member of the Austrian saxophone quartet Saxofour. He has taught at the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna since 1990 and has performed with musicians including Karl Ratzer, Kenny Wheeler, Bob Berg, Juan Garcia Herreros, Antonio Sanches, Don Alias, Fritz Pauer, David Liebman, Wolfgang Mitterer. He has also worked with writers including Ernst Jandl and Franzobel.
